DESCRIPTION:I have been invited as a featured author for a Q & A presentation for the House Museum Book Club ( https://www.historycolorado.org/house-museum-book-club ), part of History Colorado. \nRecently, Bitterroot: A Salish Memoir of Transracial Adoption was chosen.  I am so honored to have been invited to be part of this discussion.  In 2021, History Colorado awarded Bitterroot the Barbara Sudler Award for the “best work of nonfiction or fiction on a western American subject by a woman author.”  To be recognize by this prestigious award is humbling.\n \n \n \n
